2004 WORLD IAKSA KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS, BASEL, SWITZERLAND

The Scotland IAKSA Kickboxing team travelled to Basel, Switzerland to compete in the 2004 IAKSA/WKA world championships

The team comsisting of David Baptist (coach), Craig Foster, Leon Phillips, Robert McCallum, Eric Scott, Kate Kearney, Lorraine Campbell and Jackie Ralston joined the 41 strong British Squad.

The tournament was held over 5 days with 13 matted areas and 4 boxing rings. 2500 fighters from 63 countries took part.

All the Scottish team fought well, doing their country proud, world medals were brought back by :-
